  • HIP HOP Structured form of street dance often found in music videos. It is designed to teach coordination, strength, quickness, agility and endurance. A form of street dance also known as funk. Fun to learn and an excellent aerobic workout.
  • LYRICAL Combination of ballet and jazz technique. It is more expressive in nature, relating to the spirit, nature, joy, and freedom of the individual dancer.
  • MODERN Contemporary form of dance that educates the student in terms of moving through space dynamically. Modern dance requires a ballet foundation.
  • TAP A fun form of dance for both children and adults. Teaches increasingly challenging combinations of steps that develops rhythm, musicality and coordination.
  • MUSICAL THEATRE A character style of dance that utilizes music of the Broadway stage. Dancers will learn and study Broadway-style choreography, presentation through song and dance, and even some audition tips.
  • FLEXABILITY AND BODY ALIGNMENT Focuses on and develops an extensive variety of turns, extension jumps, flexibility and strength for serious dancers. There is no dance combination choreographed for performances.
